15 Aug YOUR DEMO-SUBMISSION
Dear bands out there!
For more than 13 years I have listened to every single submission, no matter if it turned out to be a spam mail, a personal mail request, a nice demo package in my snail mail box or a given to me at a meeting. It didn’t matter if it was a piece of crap or the best thing I ever listened to, I always gave you guys feedback, no matter if there was a chance for us working together or not. But now, unfortunately, I reached the point where I have to say it: It is too much!
I won’t listen to any more crappy soundcloud or bandcamp generated spam mails, emails or things like that. I do have a big roster on Noise Appeal Records and the honor of working with incredible acts. I have released records for more than 13 years now and I of course won’t stop. But I am not interested in listening to all the music out there, seriously. So please, stop bothering me.
If you really think that you should work together with Noise Appeal Records and that your band would fit perfectly, please inform yourself about the label beforehand. Make sure you know what kind of music I release, what medium I chose for label-releases, what my idea and area of business is.
If you really want to get closer to the label, get up your ass and compose a nice package and send it over via snail mail – show me that you really want it and are willing to work hard. If you do your work and research, you will find out the label’s address. Yes, no email requests anymore, I will delete them all without even reading them. I don’t have the time, the energy or the patience to work through the flood of emails I receive on a daily basis.
Thank you for reading these lines and mostly, for understanding where I’m coming from.
Cheers, Dominik / Noise Appeal Records
